🪩 A Week in Rhythm with Ameera Patankar |
In March, KSV was thrilled to welcome Pune-based Kathak artist 💃 and Senior Instructor at Shama Bhate's Dance Academy Nad-Roop, Ameera Patankar 🌟 to host a week-long workshop with our Kathak students! Throughout this informative week, students learned more about the technical elements of Kathak dance 🎶, Padhant, and the rich history of the art form.
This week-long workshop culminated in KSV's first dance program 🎉! This program featured performances by KSV's Kathak dancers, KSV's Kathak instructor Kaveri Katagi, and an hour-long performance and lesson from Patankar herself✨. We are also thrilled that the Dharwad Deputy Commissioner, Smt Snehal R, I.A.S. 🏛️ was able to attend the program to help present our certificates of completion to the students who participated in the workshop 👏! A very special thanks to the Dalyan Foundation for making this opportunity possible for our community!

|
We are thrilled to announce that our 10th Standard students achieved a 100% pass rate on their recent SSLC exams! These scores bring great pride to the KSV community and we are thrilled to see all they will achieve in the future ahead👏
This year's batch achieved a 70% pass average. Among our students, two of them crossed the 80% threshold . Special congratulations to Poorvi Kumar, who emerged as the top scorer with an impressive 95%✨. The success of our students would not be achievable without the endless support of the KSV teachers and staff, who grow the potential of every child🌱.
To celebrate the completion of their time at KSV, the 10th Standard then embarked on a trip to Dandeli. Our students had the opportunity to relax, take a dip in the water, and spend quality time together. What a wonderful way to celebrate a decade long journey🎉!

🎶 Young Artists at Work in Dharwad |
The last 3 months saw a wide range of opportunities for KSV's young artists to perform in Dharwad and beyond 🎶✨.
In February our tabla and vocal students had privilege of participating in the Maha Shivaratri Sangeetotsav at Dharwad Mudimaruti Devasthana🎶. Special thanks to Veeranna Pattar for his generous coordination of this opportunity💐!

🎵 A Morning of Music – Powered by EdelGive
|
Thanks to the generous support 🙏 of the EdelGive Foundation, our quarterly music programmes continue to be defining moments of the year 🎵. In February, EdelGive hosted a music program at KSV, celebrating our students and the Dharwad community 🎶. We had the honour of hosting Shri Atharva Onkar Vairagkar for a vocal performance, accompanied by Shri Vijaykumar Sutar on the tabla 🥁, and Shri Vinod Patil on the Harmonium, for a beautiful hour-long performance. Our Kathak💃, tabla, and vocal🎤 students also delighted audiences with wonderful performances.
Our students are not just developing strong foundations in Hindustani music 🎶, but are also discovering how music can bring people together and nurture a sense of community 🤝. This fosters a vibrant and welcoming campus atmosphere 🌼, where music becomes a shared language connecting our students with one another and with the wider community 🌍.
