The Stand for Campus Freedom community has been tracking the Trump regime's plan to weaponize the education accreditation process to control colleges and universities. The Dept. of Education released its far-reaching accreditation proposal which will make unprecedented changes to the rules governing accreditation of colleges and universities, potentially beginning next year. Here's an easy and friendly way to help win 5 key races in Iowa. Currently there are only two other phone banks in the country calling Iowa so we can make a big impact.
Info: Our phone bank is local, so our volunteers meet and call with each other each week. We train for the first 1/2 hour, call for about an hour, and then do a short debrief. Trainers are always on the calls to coach and help.

How to fix this MAGA Supreme Court
Leah and Ezra discussed an urgent threat to our democracy: the weaponized Supreme Court that's now an arm of the Trump regime, with an expert, Elie Mystal. He's written extensively about the Court, and explained how it became a broken institution and how we can fix it.
He recommended these reforms: A binding ethics code, enforced by an independent 3rd party, backed by the leverage of Congressional funding. It's the most impactful and actionable path forward. This is where Mystal wants activists and legislators to focus their energy. 18-year term limits are popular -- though Mystal feels they won't make a big difference in the near future Court expansion - he recommends seating 29 justices. Jurisdiction stripping - to limit what cases the Court can take.

Following the 45-minute film, a panel with members of Comité TPS MA, the National TPS Alliance, and the Boston Experimental Theatre Company will share insights on current threats and what's at stake for TPS holders in MA and nationwide.
